Here are some tips for saving energy with Dishwashers:

• Run a full load - Your dishwasher will use the same amount of energy and water wether it has just a few dishes, or is jam packed. Filling your dishwasher to capacity will maximize efficency.
• Air Dry - Avoid using the heat-dry, rinse-hold and pre-rinse features. Use your dishwasher's air dry option instead.
• Buy Energy Star - You should know by now that you need to buy a dishwasher that complies with the Energy Star requirements for efficent dishwashers. They will be at least 25% more efficent.
